Challenge – The idea of a 100th birthday party for a proud province wasn’t too hard a sell. The challenges were to create province-wide awareness and enthusiasm for the main event on a limited budget.
Solution – Imagery was created with a strong visual continuity so the audience instantly identified each piece as a part of the whole. The design reflected the lively, colourful spirit of Albertans.
Result – Celebrating our rich heritage as a province proved to be a successful approach and the design program exceeded all expectations. Recall and awareness tested exceptionally high. The look and feel of the materials was so well received that we were asked to create a coffee table book commemorating the Centennial Celebrations.
