Challenge – The job market in Western Canada is turbulent to say the least. Fueled by growth and development in the oil industry, every employer is scrambling to meet HR needs. The challenge driving Canadian Western Bank’s Recruitment campaign was to differentiate the bank from the barrage of corporations vying for the same potential hires.
Solution – Canadian Western Bank has a great internal culture that they work hard at maintaining. Our approach to the campaign celebrated the bank’s culture and their efforts to shift focus onto the individual within the organization. This message was infused in a variety of print mediums utilizing a sparse yet impactful style of photography.
Result – The effect of the photography and clean composition gave the collateral materials the breathing room needed to grab the attention of jobseekers wading through the cluttered landscape of “help-wanted” ads. The campaign successfully generated hundreds of responses from interested candidates and was especially effective with young job-seekers.
