Challenge – The intention of the Paper Games was to bring the local print and design industries together in a non-traditional way that was fun and interactive as well as being informative.
Solution – What would the Olympic games look like if the competitions were all “paper sports” and the competitors were all office workers? The thematic development for the event centered around pseudo-olympic imagery, iconography, and language with just enough irreverence to appeal to an audience of designers, printers and paper reps.
Result – With events like Chariots of Cardboard, hilarity ensued. Working on this campaign was as much fun as participating in the “sports” at the event itself, which had an impressive turnout that exceeded all expectations.
